We found this fabric in Osaka, and the first thing that struck us was the feel — soft, warm, and unusually substantial for a flannel. It’s a rare blend of organic cotton with 10% yak wool, and that small amount of yak makes all the difference: a unique, cashmere-like touch and a gentle weight you notice immediately. It comes perfectly in our Strong Shirt, inspired by the Japanese farmer shirt with its characteristic round hem.
